What is the status of the three new houses near the AVCP apartments?

The application process has begun. Please see "Forms" for an application. Applications can be emailed to info@chevaktc.gov.

How much is a Tribal ID?

New enrollees are eligible to receive their first Tribal ID free of charge. Replacement or renewal IDs are available for a fee of $20.00, payable by cash, money order, or debit/credit cards. Please note that Chevak Traditional Council Tribal IDs are not Real ID-compliant.

AVCP-issued Tribal IDs are Real ID-compliant. Please contact AVCP for an application or for more information. They can be reached at 907-543-7480. Alternatively, TC can submit AVCP ID requests on your behalf.

Does TC rent out vehicles?

Not at this time. However, airport pick-up and drop-offs may be arranged upon request. Please contact our office to schedule accommodations or contact the 907-858-2059 after normal business hours (texting preferred).

Does TC have a hotel?

Yes. However, as of January 24, the water pipes have froze. Once this issue has been resolved, we will continue hotel usage.

Does TC provide notary services?

No. However, there are two notary publics available in the community:

• US Post Office

• Coastal Villages Region Fund (CVRF)

Please contact either location directly for assistance with notarization.

Does TC provide rental assistance?

No. Rental assistance programs previously offered during the COVID-19 pandemic have ended, and ongoing housing support is not currently available.

When is the next board meeting?

Regular Board Meetings generally occur on the second Tuesday of each month unless rescheduled by the Board.
