About Us

Chevak Native Village, a federally recognized tribal government operating as the Chevak Traditional Council (CTC), serves as the central governing authority for the Cup’ik people of Chevak, Alaska. Rooted in Cup’ik traditions and values, CTC delivers vital programs and services that enhance health, infrastructure, and cultural preservation. Through self-governance and responsible stewardship, CTC is committed to strengthening our community and empowering future generations.

TC is currently:

  • 🏠 Accepting housing and job applications. 
  • 📝 Working to assess each house beginning January 26. 
  • 🥩 Ordering meat packages for households. 
  • 🎣 Collecting info of head of households who lost fishing gear during Typhoon Merbok.
